Nominee

GBNames provides nominee services for those owners who do not wish their personal details to be a matter of public record.

GBNames issues a certificate of ownership and the domain name is registered or transferred after which GBNames appears as the registrant in the public record.

The certificate of ownership can be issued in the owners name or as a 'bearer bond' - both methods are proof of ownership of the domain name.

Nominee services incorporate elements of our Portfolio Management service and additional aspects may be incorporated at additional cost.

For those domain names where ownership details are recorded, GNames will advise the owner of all management issues but, unless required by regulations, will not disclose the owners name to third parties.

For domain names where ownership is via 'bearer bond' GBNames manages the name in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the 'bearer bond'
