Ownership is not the only method of obtaining the use of a domain name.

Some pre-registered domain names are available to use and their owners are prepared to consider leasing the names for use on an exclusive or non-exclusive basis.

This may present more cost effective when outright purchase is not possible or your current budget does not permit acquisition of the domain name.

Exclusive use contracts permit the name to be used for web hosting and e-mail. GBNames deals only with contracts that offer commercial protection to both parties by satisfying the following conditions:

• Minimum fixed term of 5 years
• Predefined 'Right to buy' option
• Perpetual rights of renewal
• Rentals with explicit statements of any method of review

Non-exclusive use contracts permits the use of any available sub-domains (e.g. yourname@thedomain) but for e-mail forwarding only. Contract terms vary considerably according to name.

GBNames may be able to negotiate contracts on other domain names under our management.
